Mint Arch Parts List

Front elevation render of the Mint Arch built-in

Sourced part by part

Every spec below is read straight out of the 3D model, not estimated. Each component shows where it sits in the unit, what it actually measures, and the products that come closest — ranked by fit, with the ones that don't work left in and marked, because knowing what's ruled out saves you finding out yourself.

Brief: 48″ W × 80″ H × 11″ D · US · under $600 · assembly and painting only

The honest headline: no component matches exactly. Two are close enough to buy as-is, five need a small tolerance shift in the design, and the arch has to be cut to order — so the cut file is included.

Nothing off-the-shelf. Every stock arch kit is ½″ decorative trim moulding and tops out around 31″ wide. This has to be CNC-cut — so the cut file is provided below.

first cuts free, then ~$0.25–0.50

The cut file, so you don't have to draw one

Every CNC vendor asks for a vector file of the profile. The geometry is already fixed by the model, so here it is — a 48 × 56″ rectangle capped by a true 24″-radius semicircle, 1:1 in inches. Send either file to a shop and ask them to cut it from ¾″ MDF.

Buy a full 4×8 sheet and use the free in-store cut. A 2×4 “handy panel” cannot work — 42″ of width does not fit inside a 24″-wide board in any orientation.

Shop this as a WALL or BRIDGE cabinet, not a base cabinet. At 16″ tall and 11″ deep it sits exactly in wall-cabinet territory — and 48″-wide single boxes do exist there.

The weakest data in the whole bill of materials. Retailers publish corbel HEIGHT reliably and PROJECTION almost never — and projection is the spec that decides whether it fits under a 5″ ledge.

White steel L-brackets

Home Depot / Lowe's

Size

Correct projection and cheap, but a thin steel bracket rather than the 1″ solid corbel in the drawing. Hidden under the ledge, the difference barely reads.

The form in the model — one curved upper arm over two splayed lower prongs — is a Victorian double hook, and it is genuinely rare. Most commercial double hooks are wider, shallower, and have two symmetrical prongs instead.

The white has an almost exact retail match. The mint does not — every real sage on a paint deck runs deeper and greyer than the render, because a screen colour that pale barely exists in pigment. Get chips before buying either.

Emerald Urethane Trim Enamel

Sherwin-Williams

Size
product line, not a colour
Price
≈$35–40/qt

best fit lead — unconfirmed

The line matters more than the colour on doors handled daily — hardest film and best block resistance, so painted doors won't stick to the frame. BM Advance is the close second but needs 2–3 weeks to fully harden. Specify the lightest base; a deep-tone base goes translucent over primed MDF at these pale colours.

same as any custom tint

workable lead — unconfirmed

If neither deck colour satisfies you, hand over a printed chip and have it matched outright. Coverage: one quart per colour is enough — the arch face is ~27 sq ft and the doors, frame and corbels ~35 sq ft, against ~90–110 sq ft per quart per coat.

Diameter is easy; the chunky rim is the filter. Most round brass mirrors at this size are deliberately thin-wire designs, and retailers publish frame DEPTH far more often than the visible rim WIDTH that actually matters.
